Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Very yummy. Only purchased 1/2 duck since it's just me eating. It could be more heavily seasoned, but I personally like it light. The price is fair in this area. I'm usually at work during their entire operating hours, or can only come at closing, so it was nice to see the duck available today. No turnip cake though. :( The ladies here are always get you squared away politely and promptly. That's good, because I was starving! Haha. No dining, only takeout

For a Chinese bbq joint, this is a very solid option here in Fremont. Their roast duck, pork, charsiu pork, and their soy chicken all have great flavor and texture that you expect. Their hot food options are good with a few exceptions. Their orange chickens batter is extremely soggy due to how the batter takes in the sauce but their salt and pepper fish and chicken are a lot of peopleโs favorites and for good reason. Their dim sum options are brought in from an outside source but despite that, they do the job well for anyone looking for a quick dim sum fix. Overall, for my Chinese bbq needs and even lunch, this place is worth it.

Some of the best โmom and popโ dim sum and Chinese bbq Iโve had in the bay. Everything came in gigantic portions and was amazing. The value was there. We were able to spread out a single meal of about $30 into 3-4 different meals. What we ordered: - roast pork and duck bbq with fried rice - (2) shumai - (1) crazy shrimp (baseball sized shrimp balls) - (1) shrimp rice roll.

At the very beginning: this place is takeout only. Very kind and friendly staff, and at-home atmosphere. Good portion and taste of food. Would recommend roasted duck and chicken, both of which come with homemade sauces, especially the roasted duck sauce with nice meat fragrance. The roasted port is pretty good too. Itโs just my personal preference of poultry. The ingredients have good quality without too much fat, so you wouldnโt feel greasy when eating, which is the main reason I prefer here to Ranch 99 diary. And the price tends to be cheaper when you choose the whole duck/chicken, in which case you get a full box of treasure! I have had enjoyable meals since the first time. Would definitely come back and try other dishes๐

The food tasted old. The steam pork tasted like they have been cooked while back and reheated. It had a fermenting smell to it. The place while not kept well. Service items all over the place. Rice in lotus leaf tasted old as well. Fried taro dumpling looked good but felt sick from all the lard taste and the smell of old cooking oil. The only thing decent was the shuimai. To top it off the lady overcharged me by 4 dollars. Will not be returning to this place!
